Technical Charters
Do you have your Decompression Certification? Or are you currently looking to book dives with your instructor to finalize your training? Then this is the dive for you! Olympus Dive Center is now supplying a charter geared specifically for DECOMPRESSION DIVERS ONLY. We will only be visiting wrecks at depths of 150-200 fsw and we allow for extended decompression profiles during these trips. Please call us at 252-726-9432 for more information or to book your spot!
We're also pleased to allow rebreather divers join our technical charters. The sharks of North Carolina are extra friendly when you don't have the noise of open circuit scuba to scare them away! We also offer O2 fills and custom mixes for rebreather divers, however, we do not stock sorb, so please bring enough of your own.
Dive Qualifications Required: MUST be decompression procedure certified or currently taking the class with his/her instructor. Additional requirements apply to rebreather divers. For everyone's safety, Olympus Dive Center reserves the right to amend the diver requirements for technical chaters without advanced notice.
Join Us for Tech Week!
If you're looking to do several days of technical diving this summer, then Tech Week is for you! We're going to be doing a progressive 'step up' to the most advanced wrecks each day, starting with 'warm up' dives on wrecks in the 100-120ft depth. The second and third days will hit different wrecks in our typical 140ft+ technical charter range, with the last day doing a more advanced wreck, possibly up to 200' in range. Deco will be permitted on all days and you don't need to dive every day to participate. Rebreathers and Open Circuit divers welcome, this is a great time to do some training dives too!
