Instructor Development with ODC
Are you looking for something extraordinary? To do something others can only dream of? To help people transform their lives? To open doors you didn’t even know existed? All of this, and more, awaits you as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Olympus always strives to raise the bar when it comes to running a dive charter and training operation. The majority of divers trained here are better prepared for the potentially challenging environment of ocean wreck diving. Our open ocean boat shipwreck centered training philosophy, our facilities, and our environment are perfectly suited to create outstanding Instructors.
Olympus has worked very hard for our reputation. It is that reputation that attracts divers from all over the world. As a Divemaster or potential Divemaster candidate you will appreciate the ability to progress towards an IDC with us. Our area is visited year round by water enthusiasts and is teeming with divers in the summer months. Even though the water does get a bit colder in the winter our boats and shore dives are accessible all year long. The ethos of safety is embedded in everything we do and as a graduate from our IDC program you will have this instilled in you. Our more demanding environment requires a candidate who is fit, responsible, and creative.
The OWSI program is a minimum of six days. It introduces the qualified and competent Divemaster to the entire PADI System of diver education and concentrates on further developing your abilities as a professional dive educator. The 2 day PADI Instructor Examination will follow immediately after the IDC. IDC candidates must complete the PADI E-learning Instructor Development course (not included) prior to our IDC start date.
